Inca Digital unveils the Onset X Series
Inca Digital has launched its Onset X series of large- format, flatbed UV inkjet printers, sold globally and exclusively by Fujifilm. Each Onset X printer is based on a new scalable architecture platform which features a larger 25-zone vacuum table and UV control system to eliminate masking, and—uniquely among high-end large format flatbed printers, a carriage that can incorporate up to 14 ink channels.
Onset X1
The X1 has a maximum throughput of 560m2/hr (equivalent to 112 full-bed sheets/hr) and is ideal for companies producing a mix of fast-turnaround retail graphics requiring distance viewing as well as high-quality images for close-up viewing. The Onset X1 features eight active channels including four print CMYK and the remainder can be configured as required using a combination of light magenta, light cyan, white and orange (LmLcWO). Carriages can be added to scale up to an Onset X2 or X3.
Onset X2
The X2 has a second set of CMYK and has speeds of 725m2/hr (145 beds/hr). It also has optional six LmLcWO channels that can be populated to add versatility. It’s upgradable according to business needs, with 14-channels to extend the range of jobs companies can handle. Uni-directional, bi-directional and super high-quality print modes can be selected depending on the specific job requirements.
Onset X3
The X3 can print at 900m2/hr (180 beds/hr) and features 3 x CMYK ink channels plus the choice of white or orange and 14 or 27-picolitre printheads. Users of analogue screen printing lines can take the digital route and print long runs of high quality print with consistency and reliability.
