The CPIA nominates Richard Armstrong for Life Membership
The Canadian Printing Industries Association (CPIA) plans to recognize Richard Armstrong’s outstanding achievement and commitment to the printing industry by nominating him for a Honourary Life Membership.

Honourary Life Membership is granted as an expression by the association of its appreciation for distinguished services to or, in the interests of, the CPIA.

CPIA chairman Sandy Stephens will make the proposal during an annual meeting on March 25.

Armstrong recently announced his retirement from Heidelberg Canada, after spending 18 years with the company, and more than 30 years in the industry.

“I am very delighted to have been nominated for such a prestigious award,” Armstrong said. “Our industry has undergone tremendous change and the future of it lies within those remaining organizations that have adapted and committed to the future of print. I have always been supportive of those organizations and their leaders including the CPIA, with respect to my commitment in helping the industry move forward.”
