   At drupa 2016, the world's leading trade fair for print and cross-media solutions, the European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association (ESMA) will be present in two pavilions. The pavilion in hall 3 (stand A70) will be dedicated to functional and industrial printing with member companies such as SPS demonstrating screen printing equipment used for food decoration (e.g. chocolate) and other special effects achievable at high operation speed.

   Four months before the start of drupa 2016, the world's leading trade fair for print and cross-media solutions, the program for drupa cube (the conference and event location at drupa 2016) is mostly set. Large Format

Not so many years ago the wide-format printing market was still in an experimental stage and couldn’t be considered a serious contender for production in commercial environments. Since those early days the advances in technology have been rapid, now reaching the point where digital has become the preferred format for many display applications. Reliability in machine build has accompanied the continuing evolution of print-heads and inks, resulting in platforms that produce consistent results that are fit-for-purpose; nowadays, it is rare to find a print business involved in large format jobs that doesn’t have an ink-jet capability as part of its plant list of equipment.

   As the world's leading trade fair for print and cross-media solutions, a strong focus at drupa 2016 will be the advances in industrial printing, specifically packaging, glass, textile, ceramics, flooring, laminates, wood, wallcovering and decorative printing as well as printed electronics. The event will take place from May 31 – June 10, 2016 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

   “Packaging production and industrial printing applications are recognized today as growth markets. We must follow market changes and identify future trends to integrate them into our concept for the trade fair.
