Gandy Digital unveils the Gladi8tor
Gandy Digital’s latest UV flatbed printer, the Gladi8tor comes in two options: smooth 6 colour (CMYK &LM&LC) quality plus double, or double CMYK for twice the speed topping 240sqm.
The Gladi8tor also comes in two print sizes: the 1224 has a print size of 1.22m (4ft) x 2.44m (8ft), and the Gladi8tor 2030 has a print size of 2m (6ft6in) x 3.05m (10ft). The 1224 also comes with a 2.44m (8ft) side roll-to-roll option that achieves the same print quality without compromising true flatbed capability.
The speed of the press is due to the inline blade print head configuration system, printing 24.5 cm (10 inch) wide swath using 6-picoleter variable dot Ricoh print heads. The system helps to eliminate head to head alignment, while producing sharp images. The flexible press starts with a 4-colour system that is easily upgradable to a 6-colour or double speed system.
