PPE Launches OKI 5+ Printer with White / Spot Coat
The new C9 multi-media production platform series from OKIDATA is being represented by Printer’s Parts & Equipment in Canada. The company has unveiled three new presses: The 4-colour C911 and C931 and the 5-colour C941.
The C941 offers a high print quality with a diverse set of media types at an affordable price point. It boasts an advanced LED-based engine platform featuring a 5+ colour support imaging station with CMKY, white or clear capabilities. The C941 also gives users the freedom to apply white text and graphics to dark media and to place clear toner selectively on design.
All three models handle 360gsm extra thick card stock, 14 –point polyester, magnetic media and transparency films. The series has affordable digital short-run capabilities and produce comps, one-offs and preprints at up to 50 ppm1.
