Exports pick up pace in 2014
The rate of trade between Canada and the rest of the world continues to thive. Both imports and exports posted positive numbers.
Imports were on the rise in 2014. Year to date numbers (Jan-Octo) show a 6.8% jump to $1.2 billion in 2014 from $1.13 billion in 2013.
Exports also increased by 15.7 %. In 2014, year-to-date figures stood at $828.4 million, up from $716.1 in 2013.
