The Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 8P+L
According to Heidelberg, the Speedmaster XL 106 8P+L with X4 delivery is the first press in the world equipped with three types of UV capabilities: full UV, LE UV and LED UV. The ability to switch between UV capabilities allows customers to tests which type of UV best suits their business.
Heidelberg says it’s the only LED press in any demonstration centre in North America.
Like the standard XL 106 press, the 106 8P+L reaches speeds of up to 18,000 sheets per hour with a make ready speed of fewer than four minutes. The company says users of the XL 106 often produce over 50 million sheets per year.
The new DryStar LED, the latest UV technology, uses the most modern semi-conductor technology and energy-saving cooling system for up to 25,000 production hours of operation.
