C.J. Graphics hosts cancer fundraiser
C.J. Graphics Inc, CEO and president Jay Mandarino hosted a fundraiser at C.J. Skateboard Park and School, his non-for-profit organization— along with CIBC and Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer (OPACC).
“No matter what they are going through, kids still need to be kids,” said president and founder Jay Mandarino. “They happen to be going through a tough time and being able to brighten their day, in whatever way, is so rewarding.”
The event entitled “Kids being Kids,” was held on July 19
to give kids and families living with cancer a chance to participate in a day of fun, that included shooter riding, knee-sliding, a foam pit and a Sony PlayStation room. A total of 40 parents, 39 children and 42 volunteers attended the event.
