The Gandy Digital Softjet
Gandy Digital has launched the Gandy Digital Softjet—a soft signage, high resolution, digital dye sublimation, 1200 dpi printer. It enables cost effective short to long runs and full colour jobs with market leading print quality.
The roll-to-roll direct to fabric printer is available in 6ft2in (1.88m), 8ft4in (2.54m) and 11ft (3.35m) print widths and is ideal for applications including indoor and outdoor soft signage, wall graphics, wall coverings, flags and tradeshow displays.
The press is designed for heavy-duty textile printing and because of its water-based inks and low energy consumption it also meets the prerequisites of being environmentally friendly. Its available in four to six colour models, utilizes dye sublimation technology to provide colour vibrancy and features the latest Ricoh Gen 4 and Gen 5 print heads. It also delivers consistent sublimation control across the entire print width eradicating temperature fluctuations and colour variation issues.
