Heidelberg simplifies lenticular with new Screening Editor
Heidelberg moves into lenticular printing with its new Prinect Screening Editor, which creates lens-accurate screens for printing moiré-free images. Heidelberg says the new software will result in shorter makeready times, improved quality, and less waste for shops doing lenticular work. Because even the smallest mistakes can compromise the desired lenticular effect, Screening Editor—combined with Suprasetter technology—uses a unique algorithm to ensure that screen lines consistently line up with the film lenses. Screening Editor also makes last minute changes possible, because correction values generate automatically and can be saved. www.heidelberg.com
