Designers show their colours on Accent Opaque

International Paper recently asked designers to show their flowering creativity in a design contest. The aim was to promote the benefits of the whiter and brighter Accent Opaque to the design community and show how the paper makes colours pop just like the flowers on the Show Your Colors flower cap. The paper has improved formation that ensures printability and offers the same runnability and opacity customers rely on. More winning photos can be seen online.

Stora Enso Centura premium coated achieves FSC certification
Stora Enso’s premium coated paper, Centura, is now Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. FSC certification requires that a paper product be traced all the way back to the forest through a process called chain-of-custody certification, including harvesting trees, processing, production and distribution from the mill to the printer to the end user. The Centura brand contains a minimum of 10% post-consumer recycled fibre from Stora Enso’s recycling facility. It’s available in four finishes: gloss, silk, dull and matte. Basis weights range from 70 to 105 lb. text and from 80 to 130 lb. cover.

New Classic Crest brochure from Neenah

Neenah uses real-world samples in the latest identity promotion for its Classic Crest paper brand. The company says the number-one reason graphic designers specify a brand is because of the availability of matching envelopes and Neenah boasts the best. Identity samples such as the Buck Productions system has thick business cards, which were designed using 130 lb. double thick cover weight, super smooth, on solar white, making the graphics pop with colour. The identity system for the Chotin Asset Management Corp features letterhead, business cards, envelopes and note cards that stand out with an added touch of foil.
