Mohawk Fine Papers recently re-launched its linen paper grade Beckett Cambric, with 15 new shades, heavier weights and a new 99-bright platinum white. Cascades get fragrant with new scented paper
Cascades Fine Paper Group’s Olfaprint, a line of fragrance paper, doesn’t require any scratching, peeling or rubbing to release its scent. In conjunction with VEX Emotions and Ultra Ink, Olfaprint comes in scents like bubble gum, suntan lotion, earth, and apple pie.
The performance of Olfaprint is similar to that of traditional paper and printers do not need to adjust production patterns to use it.

Domtar goes wild with Cougar

Domtar’s new swatchbook for its popular Cougar line of products, Cougar Commands Attention, is intended to show printers and designers, how to tame the “wild side” of Cougar to achieve detail in both black-and-white and colour. All Cougar papers have been FSC certified and are endorsed by Rainforest Alliance.
In other Domtar news, the company announced in April that it had signed a deal to sell its text, cover and writing papers lines to U.S.-based Smart Papers. Domtar grades affected by the sale include Linen, Skytone, and Cotton.
