Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. has relaunched Beckett Expression and Beckett Concept as carbon-neutral brands. The FSC-certified writing, text and cover brands now come in new shades, expanded basis weights and a new digital paper line. Both Expression and Concept are now manufactured with wind-generated electricity.

Green Box Board debuts
Monadnock Paper Mills has debut Envi, a premium line of environmental packaging grades designed for folding boxes, luxury shopping bags, set-up boxes, tubes, price tickets and hang tags. First to be introduced in the line is Envi Folding Box Board, an 18-pt single-ply uncoated paperboard. It features a bright white shade and 80% post-consumer waste, and is FSC-certified.

On-line paper store launched

Manufacturer and marketer of coated and uncoated stock, SMART Papers based in Hamilton, Oh., has launched an online retail store to provide quick ordering and delivery of its products. Papers are available in 50-, 100- and 250-count retail packs, reams, full-size cartons and packs of 100 full-size offset press sheets. Brands include both those for offset and for digital presses. All paper orders will be shipped next day via air or ground delivery across North America.
