Website for eco alternatives

Fox River Paper’s new web-based environmental brochure, The Nature of Paper: A Complete Story, delivers the news on environmental stewardship. It identifies the three major components of paper production— fibre, water and energy—and describes how Fox River Paper uses each. Other features: links to an eco-glossary, and an eco-calculator that adds up environmental savings from using recycled papers and compares percentages of recycled content to calculate the savings that result from using higher post-consumer fibre levels.

Decorated Paper debuts leather-like cover paper

Decorated Paper, a division of Hazen Paper Company, has a pair of new covers in its assortment of specialty covers materials: Attaché and Attaché Flex. Attaché is a 12 pt. stock with a richly embossed surface on a tough black kraft base. Classic embossing patterns include leather, a woven homespun, and a finely textured deerskin. Stocks are available in 100-sheet cartons of 23" x 35" sheets. Attaché Flex is latex-impregnated to take resilience even further. Deerskin embossed, it is flexible enough to stand up to repeated folding and unfolding. At 16 pt., it is coated on both sides to look just as good inside as it does outside. It’s shipped with 50 26.5" x 36" sheets per carton. Both stocks are versatile, suitable for printing, scoring, folding, embossing, foil stamping, die cutting or punching.
