Domtar EarthChoice brings back classic rock
Renowned album cover artist Gary Burden has re-imaged 14 of his best-known covers on digitally printed 47"x 47" limited-edition posters using EarthChoice, a new line of environmentally-friendly papers from Domtar. The papers, certified to the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and endorsed by the Rainforest Alliance, include 13 high-quality, uncoated and coated papers. Most contain post-consumer waste content. FSC certification promotes natural resource conservation, regeneration and sustainability, while balancing the interests of the forest products industry, governments, environmental organizations and indigenous peoples.
Carbonless paper for LaserJet

Smart papers

Smart papers expands its Smart digital offering, with a full line of papers for HP Indigo presses, new extensions to its matte coated papers, new finishes on its inkjet sheets, and new colours. The Smart papers Infusion line of untreated premium printing papers is now fully stocked. Smart papers is offering its new handbook, Today’s Digital Imaging 5.0, free to qualified commercial and in-house printers.
New Life from Cascades

New Life DP100 from Cascades now has more than 80% to 100% post-consumer content. The paper, suitable for laser and inkjet printers, is treated without chlorine and certified EcoLogo by the Environmental Choice Program from Environment Canada. The Chlorine Free Product Association (CFPA) certifies that the production line is 100% chlorine free, from the pulp to the finished product. The company says not a single tree needs to be cut, since it is made of 100% post-consumer content, as well as using 80% less water than the industry average.
