Domtar has new Titanium opaque
Domtar introduces Titan-ium, a new premium opaque sheet with a 96 GE brightness and a neutral-white shade. It comes in text weights from 50 lb. to 100 lb. and cover weights from 65 lb. to 120 lb. and Domtar says it guarantees availability in 25 SKUs and optimized packaging. Sheets and rolls are also guaranteed ready to ship in five business days. Another feature: press-ready stocked skids with double-headed nails and wood joints holding the skids together, and plastic straps that can be removed quickly and easily from single-piles that can be loaded onto a press.

Stora Enso is adding Fortune gloss to its digital paper line for an economical alternative for the digital offset customer. Gloss comes in text and cover weights of 80 lb. and 100 lb. in sizes of 12.375" x 18.125", for use with presses such as Kodak’s NexPress and Xerox’s iGen3.

Fashion, the latest edition of Edge, Monadnock’s journal of ideas for the graphic arts, is a demonstration piece featuring the images of renowned fashion photographer Uli Weber. Printed on Astro-lite silk finish 100 lb. cover and 65 lb. cover weights, the images are rendered in duotones and four-colour process, all at 175 line screen.
Classic Laid with more range
No longer just for writing, the Neenah’s Classic laid line expands its range with new weights, textures and darker colours. A new swatchbook features a 120 lb. Duplex cover that was produced with three special matching inks, two foils and embossed. Classic is produced with a hand-knotted dandy, giving the paper an intricate pattern.
